Rivendell Gravity

Pedigree profile of Rivendell Gravity (Sold)

D.O.B 18/12/2013 -  Highflyer x Rivendell Wangu x Godewind

Gravity is a pitch black filly with long legs and awesome temperament.

Gravity is by the imported black stallion Highflyer who is by Hotline who is by Hofrat x Gribaldi.   Hotline was the champion of his stallion licensing in Verden in 2005.  With his super type and three exceptional paces, there was no doubt that Hotline was the best stallion at the auction.  The foreign riders confirmed his excellence and rideability with the perfect score of 10.

Highflyer's dam, the state premium mare Rosi la Belle, is by the stallion Rohdiamant, who is a son of the legendary stallion Rubinstein I.  Rohdiamant himself was the winner of his Oldenburg approval, then became Bundeschampion and has competed at highest levels in dressage.  Rubinstein I, has been described as the sire of the century.  Based on his numerous licensed sons and premium mares, Rohdiamant has been designated as a trademark stallion. He passes on type, rideability and enormous movement dynamics.

Gravity's dam is our mare Rivendell Galadriel, one of the daughter's of the well known mare Greta, who was one of the first Hanoverian horses to be imported to South Africa. Galadriel is by our stallion Rivendell Wangu.  Wangu has passed on amazing attitude and rideability to his offspring.  He himslef is half thoroughbred, so his progeny have a 25% thoroughbred component, resulting in long limbs, athleticism and rideability.  wangu himslef was out of a mare who was by Pik Boy, who was by Pik Bube, so top class dressage blood in his pedigree, too.  Pik Pube competed at top dressage level with his rider Herbert Rehbein.

To consolidate all this breeding, we add the G-line with Godewind and Graphit, two of the most prolific names in warmblood breeding.

Gravity is a filly destined for the top with her pedigree and rideability combined.

Standing beside the mare in stocks while the vet is scanning, willing and hoping to see that highly-respected black dot on the screen is when it all starts.
