Pedigree profile of Rivendell Braveheart

D.O.B 19/11/2013 -  Balou du Rouet x Calvaro Z (Holst) x Ramiro Z

Braveheart is out of one of the most precious mares at the stud.  He is half brother to Sirandipity, Numerology, Cilantro and Champagne. The difference to these siblings being the status and reputation of his sire, the formidable Balou du Rouet.  Braveheart has been registered and branded Oldenburg, as well as being registered with the SAWHS.

Balou du Rouet is already a tradmark stallion of international esteem.  equipped with maximum elasticity in his paces, he completed an excellent stallion performance test.  He has continued his sporting career in supreme style, winning several classes at top show jumping level.  He has also already sired numerous licensed stallions and state premium mares, making him not only a top athlete himslef, but passing on his genes in a highly predictable and consistent manner.

Braveheart's dam, the premium mare Calvyra Z is by the stallion Calvaro Z, who himself is by the great stallion Caletto I.  Calvaro himslef jumped at top international Grand prix level.

Calvyra's damsire is another great stallion, the "preferent" Ramiro Z, whose performance as a sporthorse and breeding sire earned him titles such as "Stallion of the Century" and "King of Sires".  His progeny can be described with one word: sublime.  Despite his impressive ancestry and sports results, one of Ramiro's greatest claims to fame are his fertility and sperm quality.  Ramiro still ranks in the top 20 on the 2003 World Breeding federation jumping stallion rankings.  He is arguably the most influential jumping stallion ever....
