Pedigree profile of Rivendell Drambuie

Drambuie was orphaned at a week old. Despite being hand-raised, but with a surrogate mare, nothing is apparent that this youngster did not have a real mare as a mother. He is long-legged, modern, confident and aloof enough. He is poetry in motion.

His sire is Diamonitwas the Stallion Performance Test Rideability champion as well as Reserve Oldenburg County Champion 2006. An ideal modern riding horse with spectacular movement.

Diamonit was awarded with top scores between 8.4 and 9.75 for his three gaits and rideability in his 30 day performance test. Exquisite parentage with the unusual mixture of approved dressage blood lines and show jumping stallions with very powerful actions.

Sire Diamond Hit has a sensational record as a producer – OL champion mare Loxana, national young horse champion Donovan, top-priced auction horses and 13 approved sons – splendidly established and successful up to Intermediate I level.

The dam's sire Santander H is very well bred and Sandro-Contender. Contender who has a breeding lifetime winning record of over 3.8 million Euro is known for producing top dressage and jumping horses by the dozen. Diamonit is regarded as one of the best premium stallions of his age group with very highly-rated quality in all three of his gaits. Diamonit – proof that a unique mixture is key.

According to an analysis of sires standing at stud in 1995, printed in the Trakehner Hefte, the two main contributing sires from the Ibikus line are Va Tout and Santiago (Champion of his grading).

His dam Valjoscha from the highly successful performance Velegu line, is the maternal grandmother of another top class graded performance sire, Vivus. Her sire Gunnar used successfully to upgrade other breeds as well as in the Trakehner breed, has also had a wide European influence, siring both stallions and important mare lines as well as many competition horses. Valjoscha is still being ridden.
